I believe that it's not what Trump does that will endanger us but what he will not do. The Russians can overrun Eastern Europe and he would just cower and do nothing.

I hope the US government enacts regulation in the future to prevent embarrassing situations like this moron suffering from a personality disorder becoming president from ever happening again. At least some type some kind of appropriate psychoanalysis recommending them safe for the job of running a country.
There should be an IQ test, a psychopathy test, and a geopolitical test given to every candidate of any party before they can even be considered for public office.

They were disfellowshipping those who were no longer in attendance in the early 1980s. They had an article where they equated those who were not at the meetings, calling them disassociated, with those who were disfellowshipped. In the Watchtower article, they even made it a point to write out disassociated/disfellowshipped in one word with that slash.
Raymond Franz himself was disfellowshipped for having a meal with his landlord/employer who was an inactive member (even though the article came out after he was seen with him).
In my disfellowshipping appeal, I told the elders that I wanted to disassociate myself and they said that it would not make a difference based on that very same article.
I also knew an elderly lady JW and neighbor of mine that was disfellowshipped around that time simply for not attending the meetings.
I don't think they're doing that anymore but you never know; they can go back to it anytime.

My Dad wants to study with me
by BlackWolf inso my parents continue to pester me about getting baptized.
the other day my dad told me that i was old enough to make a decision, and was wondering why i wasn't ready (assembly is in a few weeks) so i told him calmly that i have many doubts and if i were to get baptized it has to be 100 percent my idea.
he was a little annoyed by this, and now wants to study the "is there a creator that cares about you" book (which is complete bs) with me.

The Bible is about how Gods intention for the Earth was to be a paradise, and how it will be returned to that way.
It seems that you don't know your Christian scriptures at all. In it you'll find that the crux of those scriptures is about God's plan for salvation of sinful man not some pretty trees and cute Panda Bears. It's sad that an atheist should have to tell you this.

One of the most fascinating, and somewhat sad, things Sir Conan Doyle, the author of the Sherlock Holmes detective series, accepted Theosophy completely right down to the existence of fairies. One of his not so memorable books was entitled The Coming of the Fairies. In it he tried to prove the existence of those wee critters by using the most ridiculous and obviously fake photographs. A supreme irony that he was the author of a character that was a super logical detective.
Doyle was haunted, not by demons but by many of his dead relatives who died a premature death during his lifetime. He took comfort with Theosophy's promise that one can communicate with the dead.
